Op maandag gaat de kleine man altijd naar de peuterspeelzaal. Even lekker spelen met andere kinderen, ontdekken, leren en plezier hebben. Dat is het hele idee waarmee ik hem wegbreng. Hij had er zin in. Eenmaal binnen ging hij dan ook fijn een spelletje doen. Ik hielp hem nog even en ik kreeg een dikke kus. Daar maak ik altijd dankbaar gebruik van, want er komt een tijd dat het niet cool meer is om je moeder te zoenen. Waarschijnlijk moet ik dan ook ‘laat het los, laat het gaan’ zingen in mijn hoofd. Maar ok, ik zeg de peuter gedag en loop naar de deur. Open hem, stap er door heen en draai me nog één keer om, om even stiekem te gluren naar mijn kleine blonde ventje. Ideaal, al die ramen in het lokaal. Ik zie de kleine rustig aan tafel zijn spelletje afmaken. Maar dan komt er een kereltje naar hem toe. Ik denk nog; ‘leuk, nu kunnen ze samen een spelletje doen’. Fout gedacht! Het jongetje bedenkt zich geen moment en graait de spelkaartjes uit de hand van mijn zoontje. Grrrr.. de oermoeder in mij komt boven. Ik zie mezelf naar binnen stormen, het jongetje optillen aan zijn kraag en met een zwaai aan de kapstok hangen. Het jongetje spartelt en gilt en.. Je begrijpt het idee, ik heb een levendige fantasie. Uiteraard is dit niet wat een moeder behoort te doen dus ik sta nog netjes achter de deur door het glas te kijken. In mijn hoofd voel ik de mantra op komen. Langzaam stap ik weg bij de deur, adem in en uit, en zing ‘Laat het los, laat het gaan’.
Uiteraard weet ik dat de kleine man zelf prima zijn boontjes kan doppen. Hij lost zoiets netjes op en gaat rustig verder met spelen. Dit was ook maar een minuscuul incidentje, wat op de peuter himself niet eens indruk zou maken. Mama daarentegen, moet steeds vaker zingen ‘laat het los, laat het gaan’. Kleine jongens worden groot en mama moet hem steeds meer loslaten. Wat prima gaat, zolang ik maar de welbekende Disney hit mag blijven zingen. 😉
